Tres cosas - Three Things

1.- Donde se va CUBA ahora????? Los cubano estan listos para la apertura y para trabajar por su subsistencia con un pais democratico, sin libretica mensual, capitalismo rotundo mundial. Se van a quedar en su tierra o van a Bolar a otras tierras el minuto que puedan..... ( No digo que democracia en mala, pero donde se ha visto real democracia en nuestros tiempos hmmmmmm......)

2.- I am loving it!!!!! OBAMA ROCKS!!! No soy NORTE AMERICANA y ni me interesa mucho serlo --- ORGULOSAMENTE BOLIVIANA---- However I could become a citizen just for having Barack representing The US. I Think that with him as president maybe just maybe The US image can be restored and it can be seen as "not so bad" after all---- I DO NOT HATE THE US ( I MARRIED ONE OF THEM, MY SON WAS BORN IN THE US) i HATE ITS FOREIGN POLICY, HIS DOMESTIC POLICY AND HOW THEY SEE THE WORLD WITHOUT EVEN THINKING ABOUT THEIR OWN.

3.- Que P... van a hacer Chavez y Evo ahora que Fidel esta "fuera de servicio"? Muchos politologos dicen que Fiedl estara fuera de servicio , pero no fuera de la politica manejando el pais. (No odio para nada la idea del comunismo, Es mas o menos la idea de la democracia en cuba no se practica el real comunismo, y en el resto del mundo tampoco se respeta la real democracia)

"Iran plans to open a television station "for all of Latin America" to be based in the coca-growing Andean foothills of Bolivia, President Evo Morales said Monday.

Morales made the announcement at a gathering of coca farmers from the Chapare who re-elected him Monday as president of Bolivia's largest coca growers' union. He did not provide any details on the channel's possible programming.

On assignment -- Tarea

Su papi le dijo " Migui ve y saca una foto del living room, una foto de lo que mas te gusta de la casa" y esto es lo que nos mostro.
Daddy said " Migui go and take a picture of the most wonderful thing in the living room" and this is what he got.
Es una escultura de madera hecha a mano por un Chaman Guarani de las misiones Jesuitas de Santa Cruz de la Sierra " El jefe Guarani" es el nombre de la pieza. WE LOVE IT! and apparently Migui too.

A work in progress

The Before pictures show my latest project. It might not seem too much but Oh boy It does look much better. The painting is done, The dapery has been ordered ( the ones that are shown are the old ones) the fabric for the beadspreads has been chosen (Finally!!!!) The proof headboard had arrived ( not top of the line but nicer taht the old ones 9 at least they are wood and modern looking), the carpet has been installed and looking GREAT!!!, The chairs are being reapholstered. I have already designed the look for the drapery in the dinning room (those swaying things... not much my style). Anyway, I am so excited because it is A BIG project outiside my Mother land, and by the way it is taking a long time .
I cannot be happier with my client. The Only MOST IMPORTANT THING about the whole project is that my client is HAPPY with the results. He thinks we brough the place from the "not so flattering Holiday inn look" to the "Hommier Garden Peninsula Look", what ever that means for him :)

Tiene la mas minima idea de CUANTO EXTRANO MI GENTE, MIS AMIGOS, MI FAMILIA!!!!!!
Hoy obviamente es uno de esos dias de mierda en los que uno trata con todas sus fuerzas de verle el lado amable a la vida y por mas que trata no puede. Segun mi marchante es la conciensuda idea de no ver el sol por casi tres semanas.

Three Already!!!!

A very grownup Birthday Party because my boy "es Graaande ya" so We made a feast of chesse, fruit, tapenade,chocolate, bread ( Uhhh la la very French/Italian) Nobody had wine though. The kids had apple juice on the rocks....very strong!!!! A little party with good friends it is always the best birthday ever!
Una fiesta para grandes pues Migui " es grandeeeeee ya" asi que le hicimos un buffet de queso, fruta, tapenada, chocolates, pan ( uhhhh lala muy frances mezclado con italiano ) Nadie tomo mis vinos :( Los ninos tomaron jugo de manzana en las rocas y bien cargado!!!!
